The “Le Chalet Noir” is located in Hinterzarten, a beautiful health resort at an altitude of 1000 metres. It’s only a few minutes’ walk to the legendary Thoma ski lift – named after the famous ski pioneer Georg Thoma – and the ski jump used at the World Cup. The mountain landscape is characterised by dense forests, broad meadows, clear mountain lakes and a mysterious high moor. During winter holidays, divine downhill runs, an extensive network of cross-country ski trails, a natural ice rink and romantic winter hiking trails attract visitors.
